Q: Do you supply alcohol?
A: No, we are a dry-hire service. Alcohol must be purchased by the client/venue.
Q: Why do we need to buy our own alcohol?
A: Since we are dry hire, we do not provide the alcohol. We do not have the liquor license to be able to provide it. Think of it as a perk (for you). You get to go and buy the alcohol at whatever price you’d like, rather than us upcharging you for it. (Also, at the end if there’s any left, you get it all back!)
Q: Can we create a custom menu?
A: Absolutely! We love curating custom drink menus for your event. Signature cocktails/mocktails can be designed with advance notice.
Q: Do you serve non-alcoholic events?
A: Yes! We offer mocktails, juices, lemonades, and soda services.
Q: How far do you travel?
A: We primarily serve Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas. Travel between Wilmington, NC and Charleston, SC is available with mileage fees.
Q: What do your bartenders wear?
A: Fun, professional, and family-friendly attire — we can also adjust to match event themes if requested.
Q: Are your bartenders licensed and insured?
A: Yes, our bartenders are TIPS certified, fully trained, and Refresh Mobile Bar carries general and liqour liability insurance.
Q: Do you need access to power and water?
A: We can provide a generator and fresh water supply at no extra charge if your venue doesn’t have hookups.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance for weddings and large events. Smaller parties can be booked closer to the date, subject to availability.
